There was turmoil in the Western Realm. Following years under the tyranny of King Jason, a rebellion formed amongst the Noble Princes of Southern California. Four of them, each of them with their own right to claim power.

It was decreed by Queen Mary Kate that these 4 sons of Southern California should duke it out on the golf course. Each must finish a round of 18 holes, with a flagon of ale every hole.

The four prince struck, sliced, swigged, and sauntered their way through the day. It was the 18th hole and Dug was tied walking up to the green. If he could get up and down from his spot in the left side bunker, the throne was his. Rudolpho of Ojai, first of his name, hit his approach within half a foot. The pressure was on. Dug went to the sand trap and knew he had to put it close to have a shot at overtime. He smacked the sand with all of his might. The sand sprayed everywhere, his vision blocked… suspense as the crowd looked for the ball to emerge from the sand cloud.

To Dug’s surprise he didn’t get to see the ball. Only the noise it made as it rolled in the hole. He won!
Queen Mary Kate dubbed Dug the King of the land. And there was much rejoicing.
News had not traveled too far of this victory, and yet the kingdom continued to flourish. Dug began to plan his legacy.
